Autobots, transform...!!!!!

Transformers (1984 - 1987) was one of the most exciting series of time... next to Robotech and the Avenger made the delights of children.

The Avenger

The passion that this series has generated is so much that already is part of our culture. Now with the launching of a film nonanimated (thanks to the magic of the cinema and Steven Spielberg, by all means), the fever has return. The plot of the series is simple: bad ones against good ones… O the good side we have the Autobots led by Optimus Prime, and of the side of the bad ones we have the Decepticons led by Megatrón. The bad ones rob their native planet to the good ones: Cibertrón. Autobots arrives at the Earth in search of a place to live and the Decepticons persecutes them to annihilate them…
I would like to enumerate all Autobots and Decepticons, but that will be long and tedious, so we will name to most important and known:

Conociendo a los Heroes...

Bueno, ahora conoceremos a los personajes de Heroes, la nueva serie de NBC.



Primero tenemos a Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia - Jesse de "Gilmore Girls," Richard Thorne de "The Bedford Diaries").

Peter es un personaje que vive atormentado por tener una familia de politicos (su padre fue senador y su hermano se postula para senador tambien) ya que el es un chico sencillo que eligio como profesiòn ser enfermero y que gusta de ayudar a los demas. Ademas siempre sufriò el desprecio de su padre, quien preferia a su hermano mayor.

Sin embargo este personaje va evolucionando a medida que la serie avanza, ya que poco a poco va descubriendo su verdadero potencial y descubre sus poderes (uno de los mas alucinantes de la serie ya que puede copiar los poderes de los demas!!!!!). Asi se da cuenta que no puede seguir siendo el chico sencillo de siempre, ya que tiene una misiòn muy importante que cumplir: SALVAR EL MUNDO!!

Luego esta el adorable Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka, que ha actuado en varias series con personajes sencillos como CSI, Scrubs, Reba, Joey y hasta en Gilmore Girls).

Este es mi personaje favorito (Ai shitteru Hiro Kun!!!!!) y claro! siempre esta junto a su inseparable amigo Ando Masahashi (James Kyson Lee), quien al comienzo estaba un poco exceptico de los poderes de Hiro, pero que luego se convence de sus poderes y ayuda a Hiro a cumplir su mision. Hiro tambien tiene un alucinante poder ya que puede teletransportarse y ademàs puede manipular el tiempo.

Hayden Panettiere es Claire Bennet. Ella es el centro en el que gira toda la primera temporada ya que la mision de Peter es "Salvar a la porrista". Claire vive un gran cambio al conocer sus poderes (ella puede regenerarse asi como Wolverine) ya que se siente como una anormal por tener esos poderes, ademas que descubre que su padre, al que ella admira y quiere, no es lo que aparenta.


Claire crea una empatia especial con Peter, ya que siente que a su lado estara protegida.

Es muy interesante la parte en la que ella se graba a si misma en varios intentos de suicidio para ver hasta donde llegan sus poderes.
Tambien interesante cuando descubre quienes son sus verdaderos padres ya que ella fue adoptada por la familia Bennet en circunstancias muy sospechosas que ella no conoce.

Un personaje muy interesante es el de Nikki Sanders (Ali Larter - Clear Rivers de Destino Final 2).
Ella vive con su pequeño hijo Micah, quien tambien tiene poderes (vaya Familia!!!!!).

La cosas se le complican cuando su esposo DL Hawkins (Leonard Roberts) va a prision ya que fue inculpado por alguien en un multiple asesinato y robo. (Por cierto que es una GRAN sorpresa saber quien es ese alguien...)
Asi que ella solita tiene que mantener a su hijo y pagar las cuentas y a la señorita no se le ocurre nada mejor que venderse por internet.
Sin embargo luego todo empeora cuando ella descubre que tiene un Alter Ego, que en ocasiones se apodera de su cuerpo y mente y hace de las suyas: Jessica (el mismo nombre de su hermana que fallecio hace muchos años) y que ademàs tiene super fuerza y es muy interesada ya que solo le importa el dinero.

Matt Parkman es otro de los personajes centrales de la serie, interpretado por Greg Grunberg (Sean Blumberg de "Felicity", Joey Schulman de "NYPD Blue").

Matt es un policia que vive frustrado por no poder ascender, ya que su esposa , una abogada, tiene mas exito que el en el trabajo lo que por supuesto! lo deprime (los hombres se deprimen cuando las mujeres tenemos mas exito que ellos....!!!!)
Asi que cuando descubre sus poderes (el puede oir los pensamientos de los demas), intenta aprovechar esta habilidad para ascender... pero no crean que no puede ascender por inepto o algo asi, lo que sucede es que sufre de dislexia y nunca puede aprobar los examenes de ascenso (Pobre!, puede leer la mente pero no puede leer una simple hojita!!!)


Adrian Pasdar es Nathan Petrelli, el hermano mayor de Peter, que se esta postulando para senador, siguiendo el ejemplo de su padre.

Nathan vive en el mundo de la politica, por lo que la actitud que toma Peter asi como el conocer sus propios poderes (el puede volar) son una piedra en su camino al senado.

Sin embargo Nathan conocera que él no es más que un peon en el gran juego que se esta montando y que su eleccion como senador y posiblemente como presidente es algo ya planificado desde hace mucho.

Finalmente, es el amor y cariño hacia su hermanito menor lo que define su postura en esta telaraña de eventos.




Sendhil Ramamurthy es el Dr Mohinder Suresh, que es como el Profesor Xavier de los Heroes, quien los guia por el camino del conociemiento de sus poderes.. el es hijo de Chandra Suresh quien fue el descubridor de este avance de la evolucion del hombre que resultan ser los heroes (me hace recordar tanto a X-men...).

Mohinder llega a EEUU desde India con el objetivo de conocer en que circunstancias sospechosas fallece su padre durante su investigacion de las personas con superpoderes. Mohinder nunca creyo que las investigaciones de su padre fueran serias, pero luego de conocer a Peter y a otros heroes queda convencido que su padre siempre tuvo razon.

Finalmente comienza a ubicar a todos los heroes (ya que su padre encontro la manera de saber quienes tenian superpoderes) para advertirles y guiarles en esa transicion hacia su evolucion.

Y, finalmente, como no podia ser de otra manera el MALO de la pelicula: Sylar - Gabriel Gray (Zachary Quinto).

Gabriel vive atormentado porque siente que es especial aunque toda su vida no ha hecho otra cosa sino seguir con el negocio de su padre: arreglar relojes. Sin embargo el siente que tiene un proposito mayor en este mundo.

Asi cuando Chandra Suresh llega a decirle que el tiene poderes, Gabriel siente que por fin su camino se abre ante el. Sin embargo, sus poderes no se muestran por lo que el Dr Suresh le indica que tal vez el no es un elegido.
Entonces todos los traumas de Gabriel se mezclan y decide que a toda costa sera especial. Lo que el Dr Suresh no sabe es que Sylar si tiene un poder especial muy raro: peude ver como funcionan las cosas y copiarlas.


Asi comienza la caceria de Sylar, quien con observar el cerebro de los heroes puede copiar sus poderes.

Well, this page is about the new movies coming for the next months.

First, we have the incredible "Transformers" that is produced by our dear Steven Spielberg... (we love you Steve!) and directed by Michael Benjamin Bay (Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, etc).

Weell, about the actors we have Shia Labeouf as Spike... our beloved Hugo Weaving (Mr. Smith from "Matrix", Elrond from "The Lord of the Rings" V from "V for Vendetta") as the voice of Megatron and Peter Cullen (the original voice of Optimus in the TV serie) as the voice of Optimus.

It's a movie no one has to miss it. And it needs to be seen on theater, 'cause the efects and the sound are great...

Next, we have "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", the fifth book from J.K. Rowling (Joanne Kathleen Rowling). In this movie we're gonna see a more dark Harry and finally we'll see some love....

By the way, Rowling had said that is gonna be a eighth book about Magic in Howards... We hope this book will be soon in bookstores...

Heroes From NBC

This is the best serie ever.... It has something of X-men and something of comic books.... and something of Mangas.... I can not wait until the next season on september '07.

I really don't like spoilers, but i would like to know about this season... I guess it has to be about Hiro's powers and about his family...
